When it comes to getting around Cambodia there are a wealth of options available, although some are definitely better than others.
Domestic airlines become bankrupt overnight and are constantly changing, and air travel in country is not exactly the safest way to get around.
One of the easiest ways to get around the country is by bus, and there are routes all over the country, especially from Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Be aware however that accidents with buses do happen, particularly at night, so the night buses are not recommended however they will provide you an adventure for sure.
If you don’t fancy the buses, then shared taxis or minivans can be another way to get around particularly if you in a larger group where it can be more cost effective.
If it’s just you then motorbike taxis known as motodops are also common, and cost just a few dollars per journey, making them ideal if you want to zip around cities like Siem Reap or Phnom Penh.
